Ghost Lover of My Dreams

Ghost Lover of My Dreams

Fusing my fingers into your seamless, raven hair

A masculine perfume with a scent that is ensnaring

A flame in my cheeks contrasts my skin that is so fair

Seeing your eyes seduce my desires with passion so daring

And yet, I cannot deny that you are more than just caring

As if you could look through the emotions of my emotions

You must know when the colors of my mood are varying

I watch you watch me in your sweet, smoldering motions

Closing my eyes, releasing myself to your devotion

Exposing my mouth to await your violent, tender kiss

The taste of your breath a velvet, intoxicating lotion

If only our first moment of love had not gone amiss

For you were a sensuous ghost that I imagined in my mind

A dream in my head that I will wait till tomorrow night to find
