Loving Words of Music

 Play me the darling flute with magic in its keys

 A melody that kindly fondles my tone deaf ear.

 Charm me with rhythms that make me tremble to my knees

 A song that would unleash all my hopes and my fears.

 Strum me the harp of the heavenly saints

 Its ghostly voice caressing down my back.

 With a touch that is soft; that is ever so faint

 Give my heart the harmonic beat that it lacks.

 Catch my spirit with the enrichment of a piano’s tone;

 The black and white keys flush color into my soul.

 Free me from myself; from ever being alone.

 Let me succumb to your sound; endless as a black hole.

            Love me with the notes of the music you play.

            I will be with you forever, be it night or day.
